Michael Abbatiello’s culinary career began early on, inspired by his Italian parents and their love and respect for quality and tradition. He is currently the Executive Chef & Partner of City Cellar, and has been with the restaurant for nearly 10 years. After his culinary training, early in his career he worked in NYC at numerous restaurants. These include Michelin star Ai Fiori for Michael White, Nobu Fifty Seven, and Recette for Jesse Schenker. As well as being the Executive Chef at Naples 45 in the Met Life Building for Patina Restaurant Group. While growing up, and still to this day, he continues to travel often to explore and stay true to different cuisines and cultures. Outside of the restaurant, Michael often donates his time to numerous charities for children with special needs. This allows him to channel his culinary expertise for the aid of those in need.
